Design is organization—the organization of information in the most compelling manner. It’s eliminating the superfluous and unmasking of the message. It’s about eschewing trendy fads and glitzy gimmicks. When it's done right, it takes risks. It relies on time-proven aesthetic principles, but enigmatically departs from those principles when the message demands it. It captures the eye and the imagination; not for its own sake, but for the sake of crystal clear communication.
Design is the method of putting form and content together. Design, just as art, has multiple definitions; there is no single definition. Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that's why it is so complicated.
