The Challenge

In its third year celebrating Cool Nights, Hot Jazz, a benefit to raise money for Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, Circle of Friends sought a fresh theme graphic and event promotional materials in order to raise awareness and increase visibility for the event.

The Outcome

Triggering 1920's nostalgia in the audience, Caler&Company promoted the debut of the historic and fully restored Ballroom at Park Lane Villa as the best venue to host Cool Nights, Hot Jazz. Radiating energy from its heyday, the Ballroom at Park Lane Villa provided a vintage, fun and upbeat atmosphere for the fundraiser benefit event. Caler&Company provided event support by developing the theme logo, save-the-date card and invitation that paid homage to the jazzy theme, targeted over 300 guests and raised over $125,000 in contributions.

Caler&Company also created and donated a Web site at coolnightshotjazz.org that promoted the event, showcased photos of the benefit, took online RSVPs and ticket sales and linked all sponsors and supporters.

"Cool Nights, Hot Jazz has raised over $300,000 in its three years. I am humbled and honored to have this opportunity for the babies. It not only shows the generosity of Clevelanders, but their support of Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital."

"After years of being hidden from the world, it was especially moving for all of us at Park Lane Villa to have the unveiling of the ballroom at such a meaningful community-based event. We were so happy that Cool Nights, Hot Jazz, could bring together Cleveland’s best in our historic ballroom."
